Their Big Band Broadcast playfully adopts the classic format of radio broadcasts from starlit ballrooms complete with engaging Radio Announcer to guide listeners through a range of tunes from the big band era, along with a few novelties, surprises, and “words from our sponsors” along the way. The most glamorous elements of the swing era are given new life through Miss Larocque’s gowns and jewels, as well as some very innovative band choreography for which the Mark Ferguson Orchestra has quickly become famous!
The Big Band Broadcast Starring Holly Larocque and the Mark Ferguson Orchestra premiered at Canada’s National Arts Centre and has been touring internationally since then. Their Holiday Swing Concert delights audiences throughout North America during the Christmas season. In 2006 their first television special aired on the CBC Network. Holly Larocque and the Mark Ferguson Orchestra have taken their rightful place as "The New Voice of Swing”.
